Why is unemployment still falling when all new jobs were to be created?

with 11 comments

I felt like this stimulis would create jobs as the president promised. He said we would see this as close as thirty days after the signing- that;s why he insisted on the quick review and vote to pass. Where is the truth. Now a Tax increase to us poor folks under 200k per year. I feel I was "duped" by Obama as I fell for his word as truthful.

It’s part of the democratic cry "Change for the better" only they do not understand the meaning of better.

The American voters were duped on this one, hope your enjoying the "change" that’s left in your pockets.

  6. Well you believed his crap, probably campaigned and voted for him, and now look! Suddenly, you find out what the rest of us knew all along. He is a liar who cannot fulfill his campaign promises. Who the hell do you think is going to pay the taxes that support this gigantic stimulus? My great-grand-children and THEIR grandchildren will be paying it. Thanks for nothing!

  7. Unemployment will continue to rise. Government borrowing to finance its huge spending crowds out private enterprise borrowing (they compete for the same lenders) and as Congress starts to ramp up its taxing plans (Value Added, Mileage Driven, Cap and Trade, Health Care Benefits, etc.) more layoffs are in the offing. Nothing Congress has done, is doing, or plans to do in the near future will create jobs. Spending per se doesn’t create jobs.

  9. If unemployment is falling, that means less people are out of work. The stimulus plan did create jobs. Some have already started working. As contracts are awarded more and more people will start working. Please tell me about this tax increase. Income taxes have been reduced for people making <220k.

  10. Unemployment is rising. Before the stimulas package was passed, Obama said unemployment wouldn’t rise above 8%. Now that it’s over 9%, he ways it might get to 10%…..

Ummmmmmm, I think most people were duped.

All of his bills are forced through the Congress and Senate before anybody can read the bills.

Everything is "Urgent". (that’s a clue for…you’re about to be duped…so watch out for those words)

Cap and Trade was passed by Congress before the members could read the bill…….

    I think I’m going to get sick……
