I am now 45 years old; With this news I guess I would have to stock my retirement plans up and that are sound fiancially . are deemed a burden to society.

Last year on the news when I saw clothing plants shut down. I knew after research that all the jobs are outside of this country. We need jobs here that employee American People. This over seas crap needs to stop. We need jobs here making clothing etc. our own products we can buy and supliment our own economy.

The Elderly and Fat people fighting for food on the same island ? The Social Security they gain from working per person should only go to that person. Not us working to fund there needs when they never worked. If people pay into something they should get there moneys worth right back. No one has even mentioned SSI 4 the mentaly disturbed. States R cutting funding everywhere @t every level. We need real world solutions not temporary bandaids in the financial sector ,let alone healthcare.

i can’t believe all the hate generated towards peoples parents here. Gee’s. When I was a kid my grandpa (who paid into SS from day 1 but never got any cause he was born on a res) came home from work and died at age 72. My GM lived with us till she broke her hip & required hospital where she died. My dad paid & never collected – died at 42. My mom never collected-she paid & died at 44. If they were alive I would NEVER turn my parents out on the street.

The big question is, can a centrally controlled economy function even with high speed communication and computers involved. Meaning can enough people be sedated with a barely mediocre existence such that they don’t rise up against the corrupt controllers?

Many of them will …
Many of them will be left to die. Those Americans who are people of character will take care of their families, no matter what it takes. But you’ll see a lot of Americans with no character who will cruelly just reject their parents and let them die in pain and agony.
