Increasing numbers of Algerian youths are risking their lives to migrate to Europe. President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, who is seeking his third term, has promised to create three million jobs if re-elected. But many youths lack faith in their septuagenarian leader. Despite two failed attempts to reach Europe, 28-year-old Sofiane hopes that one day he will make it to “the promised land”.

the problem with algeria is the illegal military regime that is occupying it , a regime that sells the country to europeans , americans , chinese , that brings chinese workers and neglects its own people ! the real solution is a democratic and free algeria ! but that won’t be possible as long as the foreign powers support the current despotic regime (because it maintains the economic interests of these countries in algeria, of course)

I agree with you if you are trying to tell us that these Algerian are miserable in their country because of corrupted government and generals. Before I start talking about the current situation and the Algerian mafia I would talk about the west country France, UK , USA and so on which help this government to be stable and kill their people for cheap interests .
