i plan to become a pa. what jobs are available for someone going to school full time and earning experience?
Whats are Good jobs for experience while in college to become a P.A (physicians assistant)?
Actually there are a lot of choices since the health care system is a 24 hour a day, 365 day a year profession. People in my class come from all walks of life. There are a number of Emergency Medical Technicians who can both work and go to school (Shifts can range from 8 to 12 to 24 hours). Of course, being a medical assistant could work if you are willing to give up some nights or weekends. Others just volunteered with the Red Cross to build up experience. Remember, the balance is to keep getting great grades while building up experience. Sacrificing one for the other could be detrimental.
