Department stores have sale, item rings up Regular price & if you're not paying attention you get overcharged?
Is this a scam…they advertise the Sale price to get you into the store, then they are hoping you’ll buy a lot of stuff and you’ll be too much in a hurry to notice that it didn’t ring up at the Sale price…..???
And if you don’t notice until you get home and have another look at the receipt, you have to consider the high cost of gasoline might make it Not Worth the savings on the merchandise to go back and get it straaightened out. Grrrr.

That is a scam and report it to the Consumers Affairs Department of your state!!

I learned that lesson many years ago at Macy`s. Now I keep a running tally of how much I`ve spent before I reach the register. I`ve caught many problems that way since then.

That doesn’t happen to me cause when I get to the counter I know how much it is supposed to cost since I only have so much with me and if something is too much regular price I wouldn’t get it anyway.
