How employment opportunities in the future could be more sustainable?

Employment opportunities only really occur when one person or organisation needs to employ another – you could engineer this by sacking everybody after so many years so that you can continually renew these opportunities (which is what basically happens in public sector contracts) but the wisdom of this is highly questionable.
