One thing that a lot of companies are doing is they are shipping jobs overseas because it is cheaper. They do this so that the CEO and Board of Directors can have their nice expenisive life. "Less money spent on labor the bigger boat I can buy." Amercian’s need to check the label before buying a product. If it says "MADE IN CHINA" put it right back on the shelf. They are getting what they pay for cheap labor-cheap quality. Unfortunately we Americans have to pay for thier selfish choices. Thanks corporate Amercia for looking for our future. nope, good point. theoretically outsourcing jobs ends up creating more high paying jobs here, but even if that’s the case the people who lose their jobs from outsourcing will never be able to get into those new jobs. they won’t have the skill set required, so they are screwed. on top of that, there aren’t enough americans who have the skill set to fill these high paying jobs, so they have to bring in immigrants to fill them anyway. it’s like an entire generations is thrown under the bus for this outsourcing theory. i haven’t read about it in a few years, so i’m not sure if it does create those jobs in reality or not.

Larger firms have moved most of their administrative duties to India or Costa Rica. Or outsourced to firms which have their personnel in these countries. In fact; MILLIONS of white collar jobs have been largely lost to India and Costa Rica over the past decade or more. None of these were Union jobs. And the taxes were low to boot.
So conservatives, since you blame lost jobs on Unions how do you explain the many millions of white collar jobs that have gone overseas?

bubbling up housing prices, sending permanent jobs overseas, giving out more bad loans, and multiplying the size and role of government by 3 fold, while spending almost DOUBLE what we take in, in taxes….
Instead of focusing on the economic growth through savings and wealth building?

I am looking for an entry level administrative or security position with an overseas contractor beginning this fall. It seems the only sites on the web are pay only sites. Does anyone know of any free information available? Thank you in advance.
why would a company from another country hire you for an entry level position? you won;t get paid enough to cover your costs of travel and living there and there may be work /travel VISA issues

Illegal immigrants may take some of the jobs that Americans but they spend at least part of their income here. Overseas workers don’t remit any money here!

Very few people actually move up in the economic/social ladder under free-market Capitalism. In fact, most statistics show that people born into their respective classes are more likely than not to either remain in said class or move down a class. Couple that with the fact that industries and corporations are able to legally move jobs overseas for less pay and less cost, and you have a disaster waiting to happen. I’ll ask the question again: what incentives does free-market Capitalism offer to the lower working classes?
You are right.. it benefits no one.. the CEO’s are now so independent of their actual companies that all they care about is the bottom line and how many billions they can sock away in offshore accounts. Not one of them cares about America or its workers at all.. just money and ego. They should be all sent overseas to live.. to the place they have sent the jobs.. they do not belong in America any longer.
