I keep on finding news story after news story of all the people that recently lost their jobs. However I can not find one report that shows how many people found a new job. I thought Obama and Reid was going to create new jobs and lower the unemployment rate. When does that start?
I am waiting for the one new job opening when a sign is placed on the door of the Oval Office reading " Wanted - President - Inquire Within - Community Organizers need not apply ".

I felt like this stimulis would create jobs as the president promised. He said we would see this as close as thirty days after the signing- that;s why he insisted on the quick review and vote to pass. Where is the truth. Now a Tax increase to us poor folks under 200k per year. I feel I was "duped" by Obama as I fell for his word as truthful.
It’s part of the democratic cry "Change for the better" only they do not understand the meaning of better.
The American voters were duped on this one, hope your enjoying the "change" that’s left in your pockets.

I am a college student starting to interview for internships and even full time jobs as of this summer. I have had a goatee for a few years now and I have heard mixed things about having facial hair for interviews and starting a job. Is it ok as long as it is not hiding your face and it is professionally trimmed? Is it a definate no? I would appreciate any help. Thanks everyone.
P.S. I would be interviewing for finance positions, or other business related areas, if that makes any difference.
Finance is conservative but, on the other hand if you are still a bit young-the beard may add some maturity to your face. I think it’s a personal decision. Check out the staff if you can and see what the look is. You could call hr and see if there is an on line policy manual that you can check out. That would tell you if they have a policy against it. We compete in a global economy and need an educated workforce to fill the knowledge based jobs of the 21st century. Workers need to get retrained for these jobs rather than thinking there is a future in low skilled factory employment. I live in Michigan. We have some very high-level research universities which can supply the highly skilled workers needed to compete in the global economy. Dropping out of school and getting a high paying factory job will no longer work.
What about all the designers, engineers, executives, researchers, etc. that work for the auto companies? Not everyone at GM actually assembles the cars, you know.

So with unemployment at almost 10% then more out of work and less money from unemployment. Although the stimulus package has create over 1,800 jobs report says.

You are wonderful. Please let these people know that the tunnel that they are breaking ground for, really does not exist. and those nearly 6,000 persons working on the fake tunnel will not get fake paychecks, in order to buy fake groceries.
