For example, home deliveries of milk or bread, mail collection from homes for posting,

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Well, at least for one service, yes. For example grocery delivery. Many families are just too busy to grocery shop. Also they are health conscious and would rather avoid impulse buys. Say if you had a business delivering the groceries by bicycle - you could tout yourself as a local, environmentally friendly business, and have low overhead. You’d deliver on a certain date and time. Once you got enough customers, you could buy directly from wholesalers - so it could be economical, as you would need a minimum of storage space.

Ideal for this would be locally produced meat/produce - stuff you can’t always get at chain stores.

You could do it yourself or hire college kids. Maybe even sell advertising space on the carts you use for delivery.

Also you could have customers in seniors or disabled who can’t leave their homes. If you could get a number of homes in an area it could work. I know of one company that’s done it successfully.

A LOT depends on your ability to successfully market the service.

I will be taking fiddle lessons this summer. I wanted to know that once I got good enough, does Walt Disney World offer any type of employment opportunities for any type of show as a fiddle player?

There may be a place for you. You never know what entertainment positions will open up in Disney World. Try calling the Disney Audition Entertainer hotline. It will tell you what kinds of jobs Disney is looking for, and you can see if you would fit anywhere on there. It will list talent categories for you as well as audition schedules. Best of luck!

I currently finished my 2 yr associate of arts in accounting degree through the University of Phoenix online. What sort of opportunities are there for someone with this degree? Also, I am debating on whether or not to continue my education to get my bachelors degree and/ or CPA certified. Any comments will be gratefully accepted.

Lol I really hope this is a joke. I’m sorry but a "degree" from the University of Phoenix isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. You really should have done your homework before going to a place like that, even though they say it’s accredited it is NOT taken seriously by any employer. They know it is a for-profit diploma mill that will take anyone who is gullible enough to pay the money. If you try to apply for a job with that name on your resume you will be laughed at. I’m sorry you wasted so much time and money but you should have done a little research before buying into their scam. Your credits will likely not transfer to any legitimate school so you’ll have to start all over again if you want to earn an actual Associate’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree. Also, accounting is a field where you need at least a Bachelor’s so this time try looking into state colleges, NOT something online, as those degrees are worthless and not respected by anyone.

I just completed ait at ft. eustis in virginia for helicopter repair. Im in the Army reserve so now im home and need a job in the ft worth tx area. would appreciate some ideas.

Not very good,

Since you still will not be trained.

Your AIT is just basic level training, you still have a long way to go in on the job training, before you know what your doing.

Plus, civilian mechanics have to have an A&P license.

That will require several years of additional college class’s.

what can individuals, local governmants, state governments, and national governments do to improve employment opportunities.

Remove the over taxing of Business…. free up their liquid assets, stand back and watch them grow.

Ok, so I just finished my training and right now there are not too many jobs near where I live. Does the National Guard have part time employment opportunities for its enlisted members? (I am ALREADY enlisted, im not talking about drill weekend i mean like during the week when you are not deployed). Thanks!

It just depends. SOmetimes there’s extra work or training opportunities or you can volunteer for schools. You need to talk to your unit full timers.
